This came out flavorful and thick. We like it over fried polenta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 15 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

How To Make simple no bean chili

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef in medium pot till crumbled and cooked through. Drain off the excess fat.
  • Step 2
    Add onion and garlic cooking till translucent.
  • Step 3
    Pour in tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and cayenne.
  • Step 4
    Cover and simmer on low for 2 to 3 hours. Stirring once in a while to prevent scorching.
  • Step 5
    Enjoy any way you like, on polenta, hot dogs, in a bowl with cheese and chips, oh just let your creativity go wild.
