Recipe by Caron Warner and Joyce Arbogast, friends of the family. We love these cabbage rolls. I remembered having these growing up and requested the recipe when I moved into my own home.

Ingredients

  • 1
    large head of cabbage
  • 1 qt
    green beans, drained
  • 14 oz
    beef
  • 2 c
    tomato juice
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • ·
    salt, pepper, chili powder

How to Make Diet Cabbage Rolls

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil cabbage leaves 2 minutes. Mix beans, beef and onion together into a ball - - - Adding salt, pepper and chili powder to taste.
  2. Wrap in cabbage leaves and cook in tomato juice for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Note: can make small or large depending on size of your cabbage leaves.
