Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef - sirloin or flank
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chinese 5 spice powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

How To Make chinese five spice crusted beef

  • Step 1
    Mix the five-spice powder with the salt in a small bowl. Gently rub the beef all over with the mixture.
  • Step 2
    Cook the meat in a cast iron pan, under the broiler or on the grill to desired doneness.
  • Step 3
    Allow to rest 5 minutes. Slice thinly & serve.
