I always have loved this dish, Mom would make it occasionally while we were growing up and it has a taste you just can't beat. I also tend to double the sour cream from Mom's original recipe but it makes it so much richer

Ingredients
- 2 pounds top round steak sliced in 1 1/2 inch strips
- 2 - med yellow onion chopped
- 1 pound sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon marjoram, dried
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper, black ground
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 package wide noodles
How To Make beef stroganoff

Step 1trim and slice top round steaks into 1 1/2 inch strips

Step 2flour meat and brown in large skillet in butter

Step 3add all of the other ingredients except for the noodles and sour cream,

Step 4simmer for 1 1/2 hours

Step 5add sour cream, return to a simmer and heat through

Step 6bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add noodles, cook to package instructions, drain

Step 7combine noodles and stroganoff and enjoy
