    spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pkg
    lasagna noodles
  • 1 pkg
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar(s)
    ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb
  • 2 stick
    sweet or hot sausage
  • pinch
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    adobo powder

How to Make 2 Meat Lasanga


  1. Preheat the oven on 375 degrees. Boil the lasagna noodles. In a frying pan brown the hamburger meat adding minced onion, adobo and 1/2 tsp of minced garlic. In another frying pan, brown the sausage (take off the casing), breaking it into pieces. When the sausage is done, grind it up and mix it with the hamburger meat.
  2. Drain the noodles and run cold water over them. In a bowl, add the ricotta cheese, a handful of mozzarella cheese, other half of tsp of garlic, some adobo, pinch of oregano and mix well. Then add in all the meat and mix well. Add a little bit of spaghetti sauce to make it easier to layer.
  3. In the bottom of the lasagna pan,spread a little bit of sauce to cover the bottom. Then lay the first few noodles to cover the bottom. Pour half of the mixture onto the noodles and carefully spread evenly. Then pour some sauce over it and a thin layer of mozzarella cheese. Then lay another set of noodles down and add the rest of the mixture spreading evenly. Add a little more sauce then a thin layer of cheese. Finally lay the last few noodles down, pour the sauce on it and cover the top with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil.
  4. Bake on 375 for 1 hour with the foil on then 15 min with the foil off. Cook the pan on top of a cookie sheet to avoid any spillage in the oven. Allow the lasagna to rest for about 15 minutes so it would be easier to cut and serve.
