How To Make salmon steaks in lemon butter
-
Step 1Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large skillet; bring to a boil. Add steaks; cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove steaks to a serving platter, reserving the liquid in the skillet. Set steaks aside, and keep warm.
-
Step 2Combine the cornstarch and water; stir well. Add to the liquid in the skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.
-
Step 3Pour the liquid through a wire mesh strainer into a liquid measuring cup, discarding the lemon slices and mustard seeds. Pour the liquid over the steaks.
