- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon or to taste cayenne pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 6 - catfish fillets
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
How To Make mildly spicy catfish fillets

Step 1In shallow bowl, mix cornmeal, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. In another bowl, beat eggs w/ milk.

Step 2Dip each fillet into milk mix, then press into cormeal mix, coating both sides. Heat oil in lgg skillet over med-high heat. Pan fry fillets until golden brown and fish flakes easily w/ fork.
