hungry for chicken salad and trying to cut back on calories. I created this from a conglomeration of recipes. It should be low-cal, if someone on WW would calculate it for me, that would be great.

Ingredients For sweet onion chicken salad

  • 1/2 c
    helman's reduced fat mayo with olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    ken's steak house lite sweet vidalia onion dressing
  • 9 1/2 oz
    can of white chicken, packed in water
  • 2-3
    ribs of celery, diced
  • 8
    baby carrots ran though food chopper
  • 1/4 md
    green pepper, diced
  • 1/4 c
    cherry craisins (a small palm full)
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp
    celelry seed

How To Make sweet onion chicken salad

  • 1
    Drain chicken, save juice for another use. (Sauteing instead of oil, chicken soup etc.)

    Flake and shred chiken in med bowl
  • 3
    Add: carrots, celery, gr pepper, celery seed and craisins toss to combine
  • 4
    Mix mayo and dressing together, stir into chicken mixture. Chill and serve on: bread, crackers, or lettuce leafs....stuff into celery, any way you eat your chicken salad.

    You could add a chopped apple for more fiber, or used different dried fruit. This is colorful, crunchy and flavorful;but now swimming in mayo.
