hungry for chicken salad and trying to cut back on calories. I created this from a conglomeration of recipes. It should be low-cal, if someone on WW would calculate it for me, that would be great.

  • 8 - baby carrots ran though food chopper
  • 1/4 medium green pepper, diced

How To Make sweet onion chicken salad

  • Step 1
Drain chicken, save juice for another use. (Sauteing instead of oil, chicken soup etc.)
  • Step 2
Flake and shred chiken in med bowl
  • Step 3
Add: carrots, celery, gr pepper, celery seed and craisins toss to combine
  • Step 4
Mix mayo and dressing together, stir into chicken mixture. Chill and serve on: bread, crackers, or lettuce leafs....stuff into celery, any way you eat your chicken salad.
  • Step 5
You could add a chopped apple for more fiber, or used different dried fruit. This is colorful, crunchy and flavorful;but now swimming in mayo.
