shish taouk (shish tawook)
This is a great Lebanese grilled chicken kabob recipe. You mix up the marinade, drop in the chicken and let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours. When ready to cook it, just thread it on skewers and grill it up. Enjoy! ;)

Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into 1" cubes
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 - small onions, peeled and cut into chunks
- 3/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil

Step 1Mix all ingredients and let marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours.

Step 2Thread onto skewers, alternating chicken and onion pieces. Grill over hot coals, turning several times, until tender. Takes about 8 minutes total. Serve hot.
