Honey Mustard and Maple Glazed Chicken Bites
3 to 4boneless chicken breasts, cur ibto 2 inch pieces
1 ccanola oil (for frying)
3/4 choney mustard
1/2 cpure malpe syrup
1 tspkosher salt
1 Tbspbrown sugar
How to Make Honey Mustard and Maple Glazed Chicken Bites
- Heat the canola oil over medium high heat. While oil is heating, place the chicken in a large bowl and coat thoroughly with cornstarch. After coating the chicken, dip each piece in the beaten egg and place in the hot oil to cook.
- Cook the chicken pieces for about 4 minutes on each side, or until the coating is lightly browned. Remove from oil and set in a baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine the honey mustard, maple syrup, brown sugar and salt. Pour the mixture over the cooked chicken and place in a 350 degree oven.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, then remove from oven and turn chicken to ensure each piece is coated with sauce. Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked all the way through. Remove from oven and place in a serving dish with toothpicks.
