Ingredients For honey mustard and maple glazed chicken bites

  • 3 to 4
    boneless chicken breasts, cur ibto 2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 c
    cornstarch
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    canola oil (for frying)
  • 3/4 c
    honey mustard
  • 1/2 c
    pure malpe syrup
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How To Make honey mustard and maple glazed chicken bites

    Heat the canola oil over medium high heat. While oil is heating, place the chicken in a large bowl and coat thoroughly with cornstarch. After coating the chicken, dip each piece in the beaten egg and place in the hot oil to cook.

    Cook the chicken pieces for about 4 minutes on each side, or until the coating is lightly browned. Remove from oil and set in a baking dish.

    In a medium bowl, combine the honey mustard, maple syrup, brown sugar and salt. Pour the mixture over the cooked chicken and place in a 350 degree oven.

    Bake for about 10 minutes, then remove from oven and turn chicken to ensure each piece is coated with sauce. Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, until the chicken is cooked all the way through. Remove from oven and place in a serving dish with toothpicks.
