Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean hamburger
  • 1 pound ground sausage (mild or hot)
  • 16 ounces tomato sauce
  • 16 ounces water; use same water to rinse all the tomato juice from can.
  • 2 small cans chopped green chili peppers.
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large can refried beans
  • 1 large can red kidney beans (drained)
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • Step 1
    Brown the meats in pan, drain (if needed) add all other ingredients into pot, simmer on low stirring occasionally for 1 hour or until done.
