Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    lean hamburger
  • 1 lb
    ground sausage (mild or hot)
  • 16 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 16 oz
    water; use same water to rinse all the tomato juice from can.
  • 2 small
    cans chopped green chili peppers.
  • 1 medium
    onion
  • 1 large
    can refried beans
  • 1 large
    can red kidney beans (drained)
  • 3 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder

How to Make Easy Weekend Chilli Recipe

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the meats in pan, drain (if needed) add all other ingredients into pot, simmer on low stirring occasionally for 1 hour or until done.
  2. Makes 8 servings.
