Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
- 1(8oz) - can water chestnuts,drained
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1(4oz) - can sliced mushrooms,drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise or yogurt,plain
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1(8oz) - package crescent rolls
- - topping:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
How To Make crescent chicken casserole

Step 1Saute celery and onion in butter until softened.Heat next 6 items until bubbly,then mix with celery-onion mixture.

Step 2Put in a 9 by 13 inch greased pan,then separate crescent rolls into 2 rectangles.Lay over mixture

Step 3Mix the topping ingredients and sprinkle over top.

Step 4Bake at 350 degrades for 50 minutes.Serve hot.
