chicken and sticky rice

This is the first dinner I really made on my own, when I moved out of my parents house and had my first date over for dinner I made this dish, he loved the dish but didn't win his heart; it is one of my hubby's favorite rib sticking fall back on winter dinner. It's easy to put together and tastes great; great for a chore day.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups minute rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup ( i use herbed cream of chicken soup)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup ( i use cream of chicken and mushroom soup)
  • 1 can soup can milk
  • 1 - fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • - salt & pepper
  • - paprika

How To Make chicken and sticky rice

  • Step 1
    Mix rice soups, and milk together in casserole dish. Place the chicken pieces on top. Sprinkle with the dry onion soup, salt and pepper and paprika to taste.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 hours uncovered.
  • Step 3
    NOTE: May add 1 can sliced mushrooms and or sliced water chestnuts.
