cheesy-mushroom grilled chicken

Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- - garlic salt to taste
- ground pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 package (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 8 ounces shredded cheese of choice
How To Make cheesy-mushroom grilled chicken

Step 1Preheat gas or charcoal grill.

Step 2Split chicken breasts in half, lengthwise. Then pound to 1/4 inch thinness.

Step 3Sprinkle chicken breasts with garlic salt and pepper.

Step 4cook over hot coals 3-5 minutes per side, just until cooked. (if they're very thin, they wont take long.)

Step 5Remove chicken from grill to a baking sheet. Set aside.

Step 6Heat mushrooms and onion in chicken broth until soft. Drain off liquid.

Step 7Layer mushrooms and onions over grilled chicken breasts.

Step 8Sprinkle with shredded cheese, whatever type you prefer. I use Monteray Jack or Mozzarella on mine.

Step 9Bake in 350 degree oven just until cheese melts.

Step 10Plate and serve!
