- 2 - zenner brand chicken sausage brats
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- ¼ cup sweet onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons real butter or ghee
- ¼ cup half and half
- 2½ teaspoons dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 - tomato, chopped
- 1 medium sweet potato,washed & punctured with fork
- 1 - avocado, sliced or cubed
- 2 - eggs-any way you like them

Step 1Cook sweet potato to slightly soften it. Cut into thick slices and lay in a greased 1½ qt. baking dish.

Step 2Cut sausages in half lengthwise; brown in skillet. Lay vertically over the potatoes.

Step 3Saute' the onions in butter in a medium saucepan. Add the mushrooms and garlic powder. Stir in half & half and mustard; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until slightly thickened. Pour over sausages, sprinkle with shaved Parmesan cheese.

Step 4Bake, uncovered at 450°F. for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Step 5Garnish with the tomatoes and avocado and eggs any way you like them. Goldenrod eggs would be beautiful!
