Comfort, comfort, comfort food! I grew up on this and it would probably rank in my top 5 last meal requests. When I would go back home to visit family, and mom asked what I wanted, I would always request this. It is simple to make, cheap and tastes out of this world.

Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups cheese, shredded
- 2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 2 cans tuna (drained)
How To Make billie blair's tuna casserole

Step 1In a large stockpot,boil pasta. In another large pot melt butter, add in the flour to make a roux. Add milk (and water if it is too thick). Add in cheese to melt. Add in the soup and then the tuna. It should be fairly thick.

Step 2Drain pasta (BUT....reserve about a cup to thin the sauce (IF NEEDED), but no need to rinse the pasta. Add pasta to the sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in a greased 9X13 dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes until bubbly.

Step 3If you want it extra cheesy, top with more shredded cheese.
