Can be made in a 9x13 inch pan - just use 1/2 the ingredients. But you might want to double the recipe below and use 2 (15x10-inch pans) if feeding a crowd or teenagers.LOL Two pieces shown. Made in jelly roll pan.

Ingredients

  • CRUST:
  • 3 cups orginal bisquick
  • 2/3 cup very hot water
  • TOPPINGS:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cheddar or monterey jack cheese,shredded
  • GARNISHES:
  • 1/2 - lettuce head,shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes,chopped
  • 1 pint dairy sour cream
  • 1/2 cup slice ripe olives

How To Make taco pizza

  • Step 1
    For dough: Preheat oven to 400^. Mix baking mix and water; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Turn dough onto surface well floured with baking mix, Knead about 60 times ,until no longer sticky-if too dry sprinkle a little more hot water over dough and knead in. Spray bottom of baking pan lightly. Roll out dough to approximate size of pan then press with hands to fit bottom and up side of pan, forming 1/2 inch rim.
  • Step 2
    For toppings: Cook and stir ground beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet until beef is brown;drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix (dry). Heat to boiling; reduce heat . simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally. Spread this mixture over unbaked crust, sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Remove from oven and top with all the remaining garnishes. Enjoy! Your family and friends are going to love this.
