sweet and sour beef balls
This meatball recipe is one that I like to use when company is coming over. I comes from my friend Jewell. This recipe would be great for a tailgate party. See note.

Yield 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - egg
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- - dash of pepper
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 slices pineapple cut in pieces
- 3 large green peppers cut in lengthwise strips
How To Make sweet and sour beef balls

Step 1Mix ground beef,egg 1 tbsp. cornstarch, salt, onion, and pepper. form into balls.

Step 2Cook in small amounts of fat in skillet until brown, drain.

Step 3Add pine apple juice to oil in saucepan, bring to a boil over low heat.

Step 4Mix remaining cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar cook until thickened stirring constantly.

Step 5Add meat balls pineapple, and peppers heat thoroughly. Serve hot, Yield 6 to 8 servings.

Step 6NOTE: This recipe can be made ahead of time just heat before serving.
