sriracha beef and kale

This is a tasty way to make kale juicy and spicy.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef--cubed
  • 2 cups fresh kale, chopped, stems removed
  • 1 cup purple cabbage, chopped
  • 6 - button mushrooms, minced
  • 1/2 - red onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 - medium potatoes boiled
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • to taste teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 dash salt

How To Make sriracha beef and kale

  • Step 1
    Boil the potatoes until soft, to make mashed potatoes.
  • Step 2
    In a large pan, saute mushrooms, onions and garlic in olive oil.
  • Step 3
    Add Kale, Sriracha and salt. stir and cover. Cook on medium until Kale is tender.
  • Step 4
    Add Beef cubes and cabbage. Again add Sriracha. Cover and stir occasionally. Till beef is done.
  • Step 5
    Mash potatoes until smooth and add salt, butter, sour cream and milk.
  • Step 6
    Serve with beef and kale on bottom and mashed potatoes on top (shepard's pie style).
