ground beef
1/2 c
chopped green peppers
14 c
chopped green onions
1 can(s)
( 8 oz ) tamato sauce
1 can(s)
( 6 oz ) tomato paste
1/4 c
garlic clove minced
1 tsp
1 tsp
italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
italin sub rolls or french rolls
3/4 c
shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 c
shredded mozzarella cheese

How to Make Quick and Easy Pizza rolls.


  • 1In a large skillet, cook the beef, green peppers, and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. and drain.
  • 2Add the tomato sauce and tomato paste, water, garlic, sugar, Italian seasoning and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, or until heated through.
  • 3Cut 1/2" off the top of each roll, set aside. Carefully hollow out the roll leaving 1/4" on the sides and bottom. Fill each roll with 1/2 cup of the meat mixture , sprinkle with cheese, and replace the tops.
  • 4Place sandwiches on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
  • 5You can freeze remaning sandwiches by individually wraping them tightly in foil, and can be frozen up to 3 months. To use after freezing, thaw in the refrigerator over night. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Place foil wraped sandwiches on a baking sheet . Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
