1Fry hamburger meat with onion and garlic cloves(both minced and diced)until done--then drain off meat grease..Put 3 cups of water in med. sauce pan/add 1 tsp salt and 1+1/2 cups rice to water.When it starts to boil--turn down heat to low-med.and simmer for 20 min. until done.
2Have a second pot(large size) also on stove--full of water at a rolling boil.Wash the cabbage head and cut off bottom part of cabbage so that you can peel off each leaf--dropping it into boiling water-just for a min. till softens up.Remove to a plate on counter as you prepare each leaf.
3In the meat pan--spoon in all rice and stir it up--add one can of tomato,s stir it up -add 2 tsp salt and 2 tsp pepper--stir it up again.Can also add in 2 tsp garlic power or garlic salt.
4Next take a 9x13 baking pan and put down a cabbage leaf--hold open with your fingers and fill up with rice/hamburger into each leaf do this.As you finish a leaf--stick a toothpick into each one to close up each leaf.
5Open tomato paste and add 3 cans of water to it in a med size bowl--use whisk to blend it well.Pour this over the bundles and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Enjoy!
