This is one of the best recipes for meat loaf! Everyone asked for this recipe. I often make these into individual meat loaves, one for each person. This makes an elegant presentation for an ordinary meal.

Ingredients For meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 11 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    white wine or beef broth or water
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 sm
    chopped onion
  • 2/3 c
    oatmeal
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground pepper

How To Make meatloaf

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Spray cooking pan with Pam cooking spray. Also spray cooking rack and place on cooking pan. By doing this, the meatloaf if off the bottom of the pan and allows the grease to drop below the meat loaf. Place meat on cooking rack. Place into preheated 350 degree oven.

    Bake at 350 degrees until meat reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees on meat thermometer.

    I have often made these into individual mini loaves. When I do this I place the individual loaves on slices of white bread in my baking pan. The bread absorbs the grease and is the discarded when transferring the loaves to serving platter so be sure to use cheap white bread or stale bread slices. When doing this it makes 16 - 4oz loaves prior to cooking. About 300 calories each
