How to Make Grilled jalapeno bacon double meat & cheese burger

  • 1Mince jalapeno. Remove seeds to lessen the heat if desired. Cut onion into round slices trying to keep each slice from separating. Slice tomato, and tear lettuce. Crumble bacon and slice cheese is not already sliced.
  • 2Add meat, jalapeno, crumbled bacon and spices in bowl and mix together to evenly combine ingredients.
  • 3Making the size of patties you desire, form meat into a round ball and pat together fairly well. Place on a piece of foil, place another piece of foil over top and press down with the bottom of a skillet or pan. Press to thickness desired. Since I was making a double patty burger, I made my patties between 1/4 & 1/2 " thick.
  • 4Place on grill and cook till done. These took about 7-8 min. per side. The last minute or two of cooking, place cheese slices on top. Also grill onion slices and toast buns on grill.
  • 5Build your burger using whatever veggies and condiments you enjoy.
