Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 - cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
- 10 ounces can diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- 3 cups chopped cabbage
- 10 ounces beef broth
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make cheesy ground beef and cabbage skillet

Step 1Brown the ground beef in a skillet over med. high heat and drain off the grease. Add the onion, bell pepper, garlic, worcestershire and house seasoning. Combine well. Add the tomatoes and broth, stir and then add in the cabbage. Cover and reduce the heat to medium and cook until the cabbage is tender but not mushy, about 20-25 minutes. Uncover and stir in the cheese, cook until the cheese is melted. Serve over rice if desired.
