My husband loves steaks,so I always make this seasoning.It is a little spicy but quite delicious.Serve it with grilled vegetables and Mexican rice.

Ingredients

  • 4
    beef rib-eye steaks(11/2 inch thick)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 2 tsp
    dried ground thyme
  • 2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 11/2 tsp
    salt
  • 11/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • ·
    orange slices
  • ·
    parsley springs

How to Make BBQ Steak

Step-by-Step

  1. Brush steaks lightly with olive oil.In a small bowl, combine all seasonings.Sprinkle seasonings over steaks and press into sides.Cover and chill for 1-2 hours.
  2. Grill steaks,turning once.15-18 minutes for rare,19-23 minutes for medium,and 23-30 minutes for well done.
  3. Place on warm platter and cut across the grain into thick slices.Garnish with orange slices and parsley.
