Ingredients

  • 1//2 cup loosely packed basil leaves, minced
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine
  • 1-2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 8 slices monterey jack cheese
  • 8 - hamburger buns, split

How To Make basil burgers

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients except cheese and buns. Mix well. Shape into 8 patties. Grill covered over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side. Top with cheese. Serve on buns. Makes 8 servings.
