First find a nice round pumpkin,(about 8-10 pounds big enough to holdd 25 cups liquid)) make a large opening on the stem end. Scoop out the insides with the seeds and all(save the seeds for later recipe).Place a large glass bowl inside cleaned out pumpkin or line the inside of the pumpkin with foil and crimp it all around the top. This pumpkin becomes your punch bowl. Take a black felt pen and write on the side "Witches Brew".

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces pkg. orange jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 cups apple juice
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 28 ounces bottle vernor's ginger ale or 7-up, chilled
  • 60 ounces can frozen pineapple- orange juice concentrate

  • Step 1
    Make this in the pumpkin above. Dissolve the jell-o in 1 c. boiling water. Stir in pineapple- orange concentrate,undiluted. Add apple juice and 3 c cold water. Carefully pour in chilled ginger ale or 7-UP. Float orange juice ice cubes on top, or scoops of orange sherbet. You might want to add a piece of dry ice to float in the punch too- for that creepy smoke effect!
