sweet & sour cocktail mixer
One day, I was craving a Long Island Iced Tea, but I didn't have any sweet and sour mix for it. This is what I came up with. I like it even better than the stuff from the store.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup spring water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup lime juice (fresh squeezed is best)
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed is best)
How To Make sweet & sour cocktail mixer
-
Step 1Add water and sugar to medium saucepan. Stir constantly over medium-high heat until sugar is completely dissolved; remove from heat and allow to cool a bit.
-
Step 2Add lime and lemon juices, stir, then pour into jar/jars. Hint: Pouring from 8 to 10 oz. jars is easier than pouring from the standard pint jar. I like to use my recycled small jelly jars.
-
Step 3Place lids on jars and store in refrigerator.
