drink essentials: peach lemonade concentrate
It’s a warm Summer evening, you’re out relaxing and counting the fireflies... what you need is a nice refreshing beverage, and I have the perfect one for you. I love a good glass of lemonade, but I usually like to make my own… this is a recipe for lemonade with peaches, and we’re using fresh Summer peaches fresh clover honey, and fresh lemons. It's chemical free... it's organic... it's delicious... OH YEAH BABY!!! Actually, you could combine any fruits you want, and make it your own, but this is my favorite, and my guests agree. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and seeded
- 1 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 cup fresh clover honey
- ADDITIONAL ITEMS
- - lemon slices, for garnish
How To Make drink essentials: peach lemonade concentrate

Step 1PREP/PREPARE

Step 2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

Step 3Add all the ingredients to a blender.

Step 4Blend at high speed until the ingredients are pureed.

Step 5Store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.

Step 6Chef’s Note: Since we are not using processed sugar, there is no need to “cook” this syrup, and that’s a good thing.

Step 7Chef’s Tip: The amount of honey you use will be determined by two factors: 1. The tartness of the lemons you are using. 2. How sweet or how tart you want the concentrate to be.

Step 9To reconstitute mix the concentrate with an equal amount of water, tonic, vodka, gin, etc. Enjoy.
