Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1/3 cups raw sugar (brown sugar will work)
- 2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- VANILLA SUGAR
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 - whole vanilla bean
How To Make campbell family hot chocolate mix
-
Step 1Toss the salt and sugar together in the blender until they are powdered. Mix in the cocoa powder. Store mix in a jar or container until ready to use. To make, simply add 1 heaping tablespoon of mix onto a mug of warm milk or water.
-
Step 2Vanilla Sugar: Split the vanilla bean open with a sharp knife. Scrape the contents into the sugar, then cut up the bean into a few large pieces and put it in with the sugar as well. Let the flavors develop in an airtight container for 1 to 2 weeks. After that time, remove the bean pieces and give the sugar a stir. You can use it in coffee creamer or to flavor other drinks and treats.
