Ingredients
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 1/2 cups scalded milk
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup each ~ brandy & rum
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
How To Make ~ holiday egg nog ~

Step 1Combine eggs, sugar and flour in the top of double boiler. Pour milk slowly into egg mixture, blending well. Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats back of spoon. Remove from heat and add salt & vanilla. Pour custard into a chilled bowl, or place the pan in cold water for quick cooling. Refrigerate overnight. Right before serving, stir in the alcohol and fold in the whipped cream. Serve with more whipped cream, nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.
