This was my Mom's recipe. When I was growing up she made a batch at Christmas time. We'd spread a big puzzle out on the dining table and put the kettle on. Now it means happy times to my kids, and the comforts of home when they're away. Start a Russian Tea tradition in your family!

Ingredients

2 cups tang orange drink mix
1 1/4 cups instant tea
12 ounces wyler's lemonade mix
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

How To Make comforts of home russian tea

Step 1

Put all ingredients in a gallon size zip-top bag.

Step 2

Seal and turn/shake to combine thoroughly.
Step 3

To Serve: Use 2-4 teaspoons of mix per cup of hot water.
Step 4

NOTES: Store airtight, or use the mix for gifts in a jar. If you want to make "Friendship Tea", or if you just love cinnamon, add 2/3 cup of Cinnamon Imperials candies to the mix. For a sweet Valentine treat, use cinnamon hearts candy.
