Ingredients

  • 4 g
    dried citrus peel, (qing pi)
  • 5 g
    tuckahoe (fuling)
  • 3 g
    dried ginger (ganjiang)
  • 1 g
    raw licorice root (gancao)
  • 4 to 6 c
    water

How to Make Citrus & Ginger Combination--Chinese Herbal Tea

Step-by-Step

  1. The herbs are combined with water and simmered into a strong tea and used as presscribed in the tradtional manner.

    The herb pictured here is fuling in its wild state.
  2. The headline photo is of aged dried citrus peel.

    A traditional herb (banxia) containing ephedra alkaloids has been banned in the U.S. since 2004 and not included in this formula.

    Dried Ginger is the herb pictured here.
