If you are having a picnic, pool party, family reunion or BBQ this summer, this is a recipe that you'll want to tuck away. This is also popular here around the holidays, as well. An easy, refreshing way to serve cocktails to a crowd at an affordable cost that everyone loves. What could be easier? Enjoy!

yield Makes one ice cream pail. You will then dilute with 7-Up.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages small, unsweetened cherry kool aid
  • 1 can 6 oz. frozen oj concentrate
  • 1 can 6 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 3 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 quarts water
  • 3 cups vodka
  • 2 packages frozen strawberries, unsweetened, mostly thawed
  • - 7-up, sprite, squirt or your choice of soda

How To Make refreshing strawberry slush cocktail

  • Step 1
    Place strawberries in a blender and puree.
  • Step 2
    Add all ingredients into a large ice cream pail (or something similar) EXCEPT 7-Up and freeze overnight.
  • Step 3
    When ready to serve, fill glasses 3/4 full of slush and fill rest of the glass with 7-Up.
