Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 cups half and half, scalded (i do this in the microwave by heating to just under boiling.)
- 3 medium eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups cooked rice
- 2/3 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make old fashioned rice pudding (slow cooker)

Step 1Grease crock pot with butter or margarine.

Step 2Beat half & half, eggs, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer.

Step 3Stir in rice and raisins.

Step 4Pour into crock pot. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Step 5Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Stir well. Turn to low and cook 2-3 hours.

Step 6If desired, add pineapple, slivered almonds cream or whipped cream before serving.
