A combination of rice, fruit, marshmallows and cream, this is traditional Swedish dessert and is a favorite at our house- my kids loved this growing up and still do!

- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 cups cooked rice, chilled
- 8 1/4 cans crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherry halves
- 1/4 cup almonds, slivered and toasted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1Combine marshmallows, rice, fruit and nuts. Whip cream, gradually adding sugar and vanilla; fold into rice mixture. Chill.
