Ingredients

  • 1
    9" refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 tsp
    all purpose flour, divided
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    pecan halves
  • 2 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    coarse sea salt

How to Make SALTED CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE

Step-by-Step

  1. Roll out pie crust and sprinkle with half the flour; turn, sprinkle with remaining flour. Press firmly into bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie plate; flute edge.
  2. Whisk next 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts; pour into crust and sprinkle with the chocolate.
  3. Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 350º and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is puffed and lightly browned.
  4. Cool completely and sprinkle with salt after 15 minutes.
