SALTED CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
19" refrigerated pie crust
2 tspall purpose flour, divided
1 clight corn syrup
2 Tbspbutter, melted
1 tspvanilla extract
1 cpecan halves
2 ozsemi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 tspcoarse sea salt
How to Make SALTED CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
- Roll out pie crust and sprinkle with half the flour; turn, sprinkle with remaining flour. Press firmly into bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie plate; flute edge.
- Whisk next 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts; pour into crust and sprinkle with the chocolate.
- Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 350º and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is puffed and lightly browned.
- Cool completely and sprinkle with salt after 15 minutes.
