Ingredients

  • 1 - 9" refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 teaspoons all purpose flour, divided
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt

How To Make salted chocolate pecan pie

  • Step 1
    Roll out pie crust and sprinkle with half the flour; turn, sprinkle with remaining flour. Press firmly into bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie plate; flute edge.
  • Step 2
    Whisk next 5 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts; pour into crust and sprinkle with the chocolate.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temp to 350º and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes or until top is puffed and lightly browned.
  • Step 4
    Cool completely and sprinkle with salt after 15 minutes.
