My sister gave me this recipe from her mother in law- it was always served at Thanksgiving family dinner.

Ingredients
- - pastry for 2 crust pie
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon each cloves and ginger
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup jellied cranberry sauce,crushed
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped apple

How To Make mock mince pie

Step 1Mix sugar, salt and spices. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Turn into pastry lined pie plate. With cookie cutter or knife, cut out star in center of top crust; adjust top crust over filling; seal. Sprinkle top crust with sugar. Bake in hot oven 400^ for 30-35 minutes or until browned. Serve warm.
