This mexican pie is so delicious. If you like Mexican food you will love this recipe. The flavors blend together so well making this one of the best mexican pie I have ever eaten. Try it you will like it.

1 pkg
pillsbury pie crust (use both)
1 1/2 lb
lean hamburger
1 c
chopped onions
1 pkg
taco seasoning package
1 can(s)
refried beans
1 c
sour cream
1 c
cheddar cheese
1 c
tortilla chips crushed
tomatoes (diced), lettuce (chopped small) and salsa


1Brown hamburger with onions until done and drain. Put ingredients back in the pan and add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. Cook until blended.
2Place seasoned hamburger mixture into the bottom of the pie crust
3Next add layer of refried beans on hamburger. Then add crushed tortillo chips and next cheese for the final layer. Put another pie crust on top and fork with tiny holes for air compression.

Bake at 350 degrees until the pie crust is done. Usually about 30 to40 minutes. Make sure pie crust does not burn on edges.
4Before serving put sour cream and tomatoes on top with lettuce. Add salsa. Yum.....
