Ingredients
- 1 - 9" pie shell
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make mama's chess pie

Step 1Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in sugar and remove from heat to allow to cool slightly.

Step 2Beat eggs until frothy in a separate bowl and add slowly to butter mixture. Stir in vanilla.

Step 3Pour into pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
