Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups cut-up ripe banana
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make whole wheat banana bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Measure flour, wheat germ, baking soda and salt into large bowl.

Step 3Stir to blend.

Step 4In bowl of food processor, combine the eggs, banana, honey, vegetable oil, lemon juice and vanilla until well blended.

Step 5Pour over flour mixture.

Step 6Add walnuts.

Step 7Stir with rubber spatula just until blended.

Step 8Pour into a greased and floured 8 X 5 X 3-inch loaf pan.

Step 9Bake at 350 degrees F until sides pull away from pan and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes.

Step 10Cool on rack before removing from pan.
