Nutty Cream Cheese Ameretto Frosting

He was really impressed, and really likes the nuts that were IN the frosting instead of on the outside of the cake ON THE FROSTING.
It is easy and the addition of the Almond Extract and Amaretto really did wonders to enhance the flavor of the frosting.
It is a winner in our household, and I am sure it will become one of your favorites as well.
- 1 lb
- cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 stick
- butter softened to room temperature
- 2 lb
- powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp
- amaretto liqueur
- 2 tsp
- almond extract
- 2 c
- chopped nuts ( i used half pecans & half walnuts)
How to Make Nutty Cream Cheese Ameretto Frosting
- 1Prepare the frosting by adding the softened butter and cream cheese to a medium size bowl, and beat till creamy, then add about half of the powdered sugar and beat again till well mixed.
