I love banana bread with or without nuts. I double this recipe and it makes 3 large loafs, I leave one out to eat , and freeze the rest for another day.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter ( 1 stick ) at room temp.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking sda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 - ripe bananas mashed
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamo
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x5" loaf pan.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, and sugar, mix well. Add the salt and eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and bananas.add cinnamon, and nutmeg Mix well add the walnuts and mix.

Step 3Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 50 minuters. ot until toothpick comes out clean.
