A co-worker at Texas A&M Vet School in 1979 gave me this recipe. Mmmmmm, Angel Food Cake with cold chocolate. Sometimes I use store-bought Angel Food Cake to save time. I just cut it to fit nicely in the oblong pan.

Ingredients
- 2 packages chocolate chips 6 oz.
- 4 - eggs
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 cup pecans, in pieces
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 box angel food cake mix
How To Make chocolate freeze

Step 1Melt chocolate chips in double boiler, add sugar and egg yolks(beaten). Whip cream in bowl and egg whites in another. Fold in both bowls together. Add Chocolate mixture.

Step 2Bake 1 angel food cake mix according to directions in 13x9 oblong pan. Cool and slice in 3 layers. (does not have to be perfect)

Step 3Alternate layers of cake and chocolate in 13x9 pan ending with choc. Top with pecan pieces. Freeze 24 hours. Let set out slightly to serve.
