- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2-1/3 cup milk
How To Make amish caramel frosting

Step 1Cook butter and brown sugar over low heat until bubbly. Boil for 1 minute.

Step 2Next, slowly add milk while stirring and boil again.

Step 3Upon boiling, immediately remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Step 4Then add vanilla and powdered sugar until spreadable.

Step 5Recipe can be doubled if you want thicker frosting.
