Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
How To Make homemade vanilla icecream

Step 1Add ice to a large bowl fill about half way with water. Place a smaller bowl inside the ice water. Pour milk inside the smaller bowl and whisk in sugar till dissolved (about 2 minutes)

Step 2Whisk in cream and vanilla. Stir till mixture is very cold

Step 3Turn on Cuisinart ice cream maker and pour the liquid in and walk away for 25 minutes. will be like soft serve. Place in freezer safe container and freezr to set

Step 4Recipe Variations: CHOCOLATE CHIP: add 1 cup of shredded almond bark chocolate to liquid. CHOCOLATE: warm milk just till steaming and add 8 oz of semi-sweet chocolate chips, add sugar and stir till smooth, proceed with recipe. BUTTER PECAN:melt 1 stick of btter in a skillet and add 1 cup chopped pecans, and 1 tsp kosher salt. Saute over medium heat till nuts are lightly browned. Remove from heat and strain, let nuts cool before proceeding.
