fried irish bananas
This recipe is from Dakota Kelly- sounds Irish to me! This is a grand recipe and I want to share it with you. It's very carmely and buttery I added a little whipped cream and chopped pecans on top of the bananas too! What a treat....

Ingredients
- 4 liters bananas,peeled and halved lengthwise
- 1/2 cup irish whiskey
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
How To Make fried irish bananas

Step 1Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat, stir in brown sugar and whiskey. Bring to a boil and cool until sugar dissolves. Add bananas and simmer until bananas are tender and glazed with the syrup. Serve over ice cream and top with whipped cream and chopped nuts, if desired.
