Found this recipe in a recent magazine and knew I had to add it to my collection. It will go nicely with my apple crisp and my peach crisp. Love any fruit crisp or cobbler!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 6 c
    fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 c
    quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    (1 stick) cold butter
  • ·
    vanilla ice cream, for serving

How to Make EASY BLUEBERRY CRISP

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the 3 Tbsp. flour and granulated sugar. Add blueberries and lemon juice; toss gently to combine. Spread berry mixture evenly in an ungreased 3-qt. rectangular baking dish; set aside.
  2. For topping, in a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, the 3/4 cup flour, the oats, and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle topping evenly over berry mixture.
  3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 375-degree oven about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and edges are bubbly. Cool on a wire rack about 45 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
