easy apple wedges

I got this recipe from a Bisquick cookbook and they are easy to make and so yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 large cooking apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat bisquick mix
  • 2 - eggs
  • - maple syrup for drizzling

How To Make easy apple wedges

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400. Spray a 9" glass pie pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Add apple slices, toss to coat.
  • Step 2
    In lg saucepan, heat water and butter to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add Bisquick mix and stir until mix forms a ball. Remove from heat.
  • Step 3
    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat until smooth. Spread batter into bottom of pan. Arrange apples on top of batter w/in 1" of the edge. bake 23 min or until puffed and edges are golden brown. Drizzle w/ syrup.
