  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup grape juice
  • 6 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

How To Make burgundy pears

  • Step 1
    peel pears, leaving stems intact. stand pears upright in a lrg slowcooker, in a medium bowl, combine the sugar,, grapejuice, marmalade, lime juice, cinnamon, nutmegand touch salt.carefully pour over pears.
  • Step 2
    cover and cook on low for3 hours or until pears are tender. to serve, drizzle pears with the sauce from cooking. ummmm if you cant fit the pears in one slowcooker divide in half recipe an use two slow cookers.
